Midwestern State snapped a 12-game losing streak with a 9-8 victory over Angelo State, which won the first two games of the series, 10-1. The Rambelles hit six home runs in the first two games combined. The Mustangs posted a trio of three-run innings and held on in the seventh inning to defeat Angelo State for its first conference win of the season. MSU is on the road to face West Texas A&M this week before returning to Mustangs Park for a three-game series with UT Permian Basin that begins with a doubleheader at 2 p.m. Saturday.
